welcome to LA!

We're so happy to host you in the city where we fell in love and share our lives! The city we live in, the city of angels.

For those of you who haven't been here before, Los Angeles is a big city but far less daunting than New York. Lots of sun, traffic, neighborhoods, beaches, and mountains to climb.

Where to rest your head

We've reserved a block of rooms at the Normandie Hotel in Koreatown. Just mention the Heinze Rosania wedding when you call to reserve.

The Normandie Hotel is a historic, boutique hotel that was refurbished a few years ago. There are free wine tastings each evening and great food at Cassel's hamburger joint located in the hotel.

Note: For the foodies, you may want to try one of the hottest restaurants in town, Le Comptoir, located in the Normandie Hotel. A 8-course, prix fixe meal is offered with wine paring. Much of the produce is grown on their farm in Long Beach, CA. Reservations are a must, so book early if this intrigues you.

A few other hotels in the Area

Line Hotel: Fun and contemporary hotel in the neighborhood. Has a great pool. Across the street from the Normandie Hotel.

Shelter Hotel: another boutique hotel in the neightborhood.

Stay by the beach: If you are interested in staying by the beach, we recommend you pick a hotel or Airbnb in Santa Monica. Give yourself 45 minutes to get from Santa Monica to the Zen Center for the ceremony. (If that sounds like a long drive, it's not. Santa Monica is only 12 miles from Koreatown and 45 minutes is a typical ride to get anywhere in LA.)

Gettin' Here

Feel free to fly into LAX or BURBANK Bob Hope Airport. It takes about 20 minutes (or 45 minutes during rush hour) to get to the Normandie Hotel.

GETTIN' AROUND

We recommend using LYFT or UBER to get around town instead of renting a car.
